Shimona Henry is a 25 year-old Vancouver Film School Make-up Artistry graduate, specializing in vintage make-up and hairstyles of the 20th century and photographer with a love for pin-up, glamour and gore. Shimona found her niche in retro glamour make-up in 2006 which blossomed and helped inspire her pin-up photography business.

Shimona's vision for Pin-up Perfection Photography is to enhance women's self esteem by providing them with fun, playful and sexy images in a fun, comfortable and supportive environment.

She has been published in the Peace Arch News (cover story September 2008), Vancouver Courier (2008), the Vancouver Sun (full page in the style section April 2009) and the Now (April 2009). She was also featured on Shaw TV's Naughty But Nice Christmas Special (December 2008). Shimona had her first magazine set published in Java's Bachelor Pad Magazine in June 2009 and was most recently published in the Surrey Now this Feb. of 2010. Shimona has been in multiple group art shows for her photography as well over the past few years, and is an active supporter and sponsor of the Vancouver burlesque community.

In her spare time she can be found photographing live burlesque shows or watching horror films!
