Q: How do I book an appointment? Do I need to put down a deposit?
A: Please refer to our calendar (link below) Available appointments are shown in bold, green font. E-mail pinupperfectionphotography@gmail.com to book and let us know what day you'd like!

- There is a $75 deposit for regular packages and 25$ per person for pin-up parties and specials due when booking to secure your appointment.
- Deposits are applied towards the remaining balance due on the day of your shoot in cash.

Q: What color backdrops do you have?
A:The colors below are usually in stock but sometimes we run out! Please e-mail us if you'd like to check the availability of a certain color :)
Q: Where are you located?
A: Goblin Studios...750 E Hastings Vancouver, across from the Astoria Pub. Look for the white gate and hanging lanterns. Please call 778-552-3685 if the gate is locked.
Q: What does 're-touching' entail?
A: Your final favorite images are custom adjusted for you. We take care of the following: blemishes, under eye, fine lines, scars, stretch marks...smooth out your skin, whiten your teeth, even shape your body... as much or as little as you'd like! :)
Q: Your packages come with high-resolution images - what does that mean?
A: Your final favorite images are e-touched than you will receive them via e-mail or you may pick them up on a DVD. After that you are able to take them into a photo lab of your choice to get prints made, post them online etc. We offer printing services as well, but you are under no obligation to purchase prints through us. We recommend ABC in Vancouver or Photo Expert in Delta.
Q: Will my photos go onto the internet if I have a photoshoot with Pin-up Perfection?
A: We will only use your pictures online or in print if you sign a model release allowing us to use the images for promotional use.
Q: How old do I have to be to come in for a photo shoot?
A: You must be 18+. All clients must bring ID to their shoot with proof of their age.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We currently accept cash only.
Q: What if i have to cancel my appointment?
A: Life happens! It's no problem if for any reason you need to re-schedule with us, just please be courteous and give us a minimum of 24 hours notice. Your deposit is non-refundable.
Q: How long is a session?
A: 1-4 hours depending on the package. Pin-up parties are usually 4+ hours
Q: How long does it take to get the pictures back?
A: Turn around is currently about 1-2 weeks.
Q: What should I do to prepare for our shoot?
A: All things girlie! Shave your legs, underarms, bikini line. Moisturize your skin and paint your nails! Get lots of sleep, and eat, but avoid foods that will make you feel 'yucky'. Check your hosiery for runs and rips. On the day of your shoot avoid wearing tight clothing that will leave lines on your skin. If you are having your eyebrows waxed, have it done a few days before your appointment to avoid swelling and redness.
Q: My friend and I want to come in together. Do you have a reduced rate for double bookings?
A: Double booking clients will receive 50$ off each (not applicable with specials).
Q: Can my partner come and watch?
A: Unfortunately they may not stay because it puts a different element in to the shoot that can hinder bringing out the bombshell in you! They are more than welcome to drop you off, check out our studio and meet us to put them at ease.
Q: What should I bring to wear?
A: Dresses, garter belts, bras, underwear, corsets, costumes, bustiers, waist cinchers, fishnets, thigh-high stockings, bathing suits, cardigans, pencil skirts, high heeled shoes...anything vintage (1930 - 1960's) or vintage inspired, jewellery, accessories etc. The more you bring the better!
Q: I don’t have much to wear...do you have something I can wear?
A: Although we have a fairly large collection of garments and costumes for clients to wear from XS-3X, we recommend that every client come with at least their own basics...lingerie, undergarments and shoes (we have sizes 8-10.5) in case our collection does not meet your size, style or color. If you would like an excuse to go shopping check out Scout, Forever Yours Lingerie, pinupgirlclothing.com, New World Designs, Deluxe Junk, Mintage, Woo, Lace Embrace and Burcu's Angels.
Q: Is there anything else that I should bring to my shoot other than clothes, shoes, accessories etc?
A: Feel free to bring any props you would like to use, or ask us if we have something that you would like to shoot with that you have seen on the site. We love it when clients bring in items to pose with!
Q: What props do you have?
A: If you would like a specific item, please let us know so we can make sure we have it ready for you! Props - small feather fans, retro telephones, retro iron and board, vintage hand mirror, boas in almost ever color, handcuffs, cat o nine tails, riding crop, deck of cards, poker chips, dice, ukulele, seashells, beach bucket, picnic basket, crab, frog, picnic table cloth, anchor, hats (sailor, police, cowgirl, nurse, pirate), vintage apple basket, 45 player and holder, tons of holiday stuff for Halloween, Valentines day and Christmas, pearls, diamonds, retro books, cigarette holder, fur shall, gloves, directors chair, film reels, maracas with Mexican blanket, pistol, perfume bottle, retro sunglasses, hair flowers galore, mini top hats, faux tiger rug/fur rug, type writer etc....and the list grows monthly!
